Microsoft SURFACE
After two years of buzz on the Internet, Microsoft is gradually deploying its new multitouch interactive table : SURFACE. Mazedia is currently developing new applications on this technology with the support of Microsoft.
SURFACE is the pioneer of tomorrow’s interactivity. Actions with all fingers on a vast touch surface, objects recognition, interactivity now goes beyond the simple mouse or touch screen as we have known it for years. At Mazedia, we are heavily relying on new interfaces, the very ones that will totally change our relationship with IT. Accessible at any time in a point of sale to choose a product or in a museum to live an interactive experience, these new devices will become part of our daily life.

We are pleased that Microsoft has put its faith in our company, this represents both an important step in our R&D development and a mark of recognition for our advance in this area and in our work. Mazedia therefore wishes to bring new services offered by multimedia technologies. In this context, we led, with Microsoft, a workshop at the Carrousel du Louvre, as part of the SITEM Exhibition on January 26th. We put at your disposal the Powerpoint presentation.
At the same time, Mazedia Boscher, the Ecole des Mines and Laurent Vié, with the support of the Design’in program of the Pays de la Loire Region, are finalizing a collaborative multitouch table project that will soon be presented.
